Who We Are

Affordable Music Lessons

Located in LA county, Foothill Musical Arts is a Christian music program that provides affordable music instruction to homeschool families and others who do not have access to a similar program at their public or private school. Unlike most music schools, FHMA charges a flat fee per student rather than per class. Thus, one student can take multiple classes at multiple sites for the same yearly fee.* Likewise, all classes are designed in a group format to allow for a longer music instruction time at a lower price.

WhAT WE DO

Ensemble & Group Classes

FHMA is unique in that it offers large ensembles normally found in a school setting such as Concert Band and Choir, as well as group instruction for Keyboard, Guitar, and Strings (Violin, Cello, Viola).* While classes are designed for specific ages and levels, students are encouraged to learn together through collaboration inside and outside of class. General music classes are also available to introduce younger students to basic music theory, sight reading, music history, and rhythms.

OTher Services

Instrument Rental

Our parent organization (OCMA) offers instrument rentals to all students enrolled in FHMA. Instruments can be rented for $70 for the entire school year. Due to the limited number of instruments, please contact our director at ocmaband@gmail.com for available instruments.
